New Cache methods for Umbraco
I’ve had run into cache and corrupted xml and indexes files in my short time in Umbraco – which has been less than a year. But although, the occurences have been few and far between, the issues are a bit nerve wrecking because you never know when it can occur and it often requires a little time for a large property to recreate the XML document once it has been corrupted.
A recent blog post outlined some of the history associated with the usage of XML in Umbraco and potential solutions for the caching issue without using the traditional XML approach.
