Thank You 2017! Hello 2018!

2017 was an amazing year with great, amazing heights and deep, dark lows. It was life. I am excited more than anything that I survived it all, and look forward to new heights, and more adventures with fewer lows – of course. I will start with some of the lows. 2017 had plenty of lows, mainly around family. There were several unexpected deaths that were extremely close to home. Death always has a way of putting the bigger picture of things into perspective. 2017 will be remembered for the highs. I completed my M.B.A. program at Prairie View A&M University, was able to study-abroad in China, and had some fascinating growth in my Software Engineering career. For 2018, I look forward to spending much more time with family, especially my immediate family – who has been patient, supportive, and encouraging during the lows and highs of 2017. I also look forward to digging deeper into my professional career. I have a few pending projects that I am eager to get out the door. In addition, there’s some pretty exciting technology that I would like to spend more time with. So, I’ll be sure to journal those experiences and development as they occur! Happy New Years to all!  |
